I have 17 years of experience with in-home health settings for the elderly. I am registered with HCA and IHSS. I can be flexible with my schedule if need to be. I have CPR and BSL training. I know how to operate Hoyer lifts and many other medical equipment. I know how to give injections. I have been trained on how to handle Dementia and Alzheimer's clients as well as bedridden clients. I have also had clients that are blind and diabetic and that are on hospice care. I care for the elderly patients by making sure they have proper care and getting them to their doctor appointments and grocery store when needed. Planned and prepared meals, followed by clean-up. Assisted with bathing, dressing and grooming. Run errands (pickup prescriptions, dry cleaning). Provided medication reminders. I'm currently working on getting my BSN.
