Hi! I'm a professional nanny based in Northern Colorado with 8+ years of experience caring for children from newborn through school age. Most of my experience has been in long term positions supporting infants and toddlers, though I've also worked with school aged children. I'm confident with routines, developmental play, and creating a calm, structured environment where kids can thrive. I'm also a big believer in getting outside almost everyday! I recently had my daughter at the end of April and am currently looking for a position starting in August or later where she is welcome to come along with me. I think my review would carry a lot of weight because she was part of our family for 3 years. That is a long time to have consistent child care. She joined us when my first was just 5 months old. After maternity leave, we put him in daycare. We are lucky with grandparents that were willing to help but they were still a bit far away. He got very sick at daycare, and we were kind of stuck because we just did not feel comfortable sending him back. We interviewed 8 nannies but we compared everyone else's interview to hers and to this day we say "she was our godsend." She is nurturing to our children (now there are 2) and we learned from her the secret tricks of how to raise kids. We often went to her for her advice and that is the one everyone would have to follow. She is hands-on with the kids and creative with craft projects that is appropriate per each age. She is beyond accommodating with our scheduling requests. Bottom line, we are lucky to know her!
