I also have wonderful long term relationships with the families I have cared for, and usually feel like part of the family. My last 2 positions have been in the last 15 years, I have had a few that were 5 year positions too, and have helped out some families for 1 or 2 years also.. Jenean was a full time nanny for 8 years for my three kids. She was always caring, organized and took care of all the childcare responsibilities including helping with homework/school assignments, planning birthday parties, grocery shopping, doctors' appointments, light cleaning, etc. I knew I could always depend on her to be there for my kids, since I was a single mom and my work hours were unpredictable. I was never concerned being away from my kids while I was working because I always knew Jenean would take care of them like her own. We were very sad to part ways when my kids grew up and we no longer needed a full time nanny. We still remain good friends.
