Hi there! My name is Jem and I am currently attending College as a Biology major. I plan on transferring in 2028 as an Animal Science major at UC Davis. I've gainedhands-on experience caring for animals through shelter work, where I fed, cleaned, socialized for all animals (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, chickens, pigeons and snakes) of all ages, and sizes, and personalities. I've also worked in dog grooming, so I'm comfortable handling dogs, helping them feel at ease, paying close attention to their behavior, health and comfort. When I'm not studying/preparing for my future veterinary career, you'll probably find me exploring new places, thrifitng, going to the beach, and attending a concert.
