About Jelissa

Knowing I can positively influence a child's life is what drives my passion for childcare. I currently obtain my Early Childhood Development Assistant Teachers certification and am enrolled full time online to obtain my AA Teachers degree. With over 10 years of experience in child care, I bring a calm and patient approach to caring for children aged newborn - 16yrs and I am comfortable caring for up to three children or more. I believe in open communication, providing regular updates via text or phone call, always respecting your preferred method. I am also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I am experienced in working with special needs children, including those with autism, and am familiar with PECS books and potty training techniques. I am trained in First Aid and CPR. I will also respectfully reinforce your household rules while in my care. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my helping hands to your home in need.
