About Jelani

Supporting my grandmother through hospice is what first led me into caregiving and shaped the way I care for others. Being there for her in her final days taught me the importance of patience, presence, and creating a calm, dignified environment. I have nearly four years of experience providing care, including hospice support, Alzheimer's and dementia care, and working with individuals with complex needs such as MS. I assist with daily living tasks such as mobility support, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, and maintaining a clean, comfortable space. My approach is patient, calm, and attentive. I focus on building trust, respecting each person's independence, and creating a peaceful environment where they feel safe, seen, and cared for. I also prioritize clear and consistent communication so families feel informed and at ease. I believe care should feel personal, not rushed, and I'm committed to providing support with compassion, dignity, and genuine presence.
