I have worked in a hospital setting providing services to all ages. The most rewarding age group for me has been the seniors. I have gained so much wisdom from performing daily care. I enjoy the laughs, the talks and to just be apart of their world. I have worked with seniors that have needed little assistance to ones that have needed total care until their departure from this earthly realm. I don't look at it as a job, but more so an experience that I have learned to cherish. I provide care that I will want my grandparents and even myself at that age to have. I always make the patient feel special and that is what truly drives me. Just a smile or to know that they have the best care provided during their transition of life warms my heart.
