Experience: 5 yrs
Making a difference in the lives of seniors is my passion. For the past five years, I've had the privilege of providing comprehensive care to adults and seniors, always prioritizing their well-being and independence. As a college graduate, I am committed to serving our wiser generation by cooking, taking walks, and sharing interesting stories to bring joy to my companions. My approach is rooted in patience, compassion, and a friendly demeanor. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by understanding their preferences and personal history. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and incorporate memory care activities as needed. I provide verbal updates during visits and follow the family's preferred communication method. I am skilled in respite care, transportation, hospice services, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, mobility assistance, and physical activity.
Jeff is an excellent caregiver! He takes such wonderful care of my husband Jack, who has Parkinson's disease and dementia. Jeff is always doing exercises with Jack in bed, stretching his arms and legs. Jeff knows a lot about nutrition and he makes wonderful healthy meals and protein milkshakes for Jack. Jeff loves to take my husband outside to get fresh air and sunshine. He is constantly talking to Jack, even though Jack mostly can't answer back. He loves to play music and sing hymns to Jack (my husband was a pastor). Jeff has great ideas of how to make life better for both of us. You would be blessed to have Jeff as a caregiver for your loved one.
