About Jeff

In my work in education, I had training and experience in early childhood, and K-12. I've taught in private, public schools and church-run programs. I am a father of a large family; my oldest two girls are 14 & 16, and would be interested in helping me with childcare work. I'm looking for part-time work this winter, and generally have a flexible schedule. I drive our passenger van, and have driven other children in my work, for state and private programs. I'm a teacher at heart, and notice opportunities to teach, so I enjoy working with children, finding them always curious about the world around them. My joy is to help children of all ages towards a peaceful and successful future. When I was a substitute and bus companion with a special needs classroom, I enjoyed being a helper and friend to so many children. I enjoy the outdoors, walks, playing table games or sharing songs with children. I am a believer in God and bring that spirit into my work, within appropriate limits
