About Jeff

Just graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors in Materials Science and Engineering. Was a TA for one semester, and often helped peers with homework assignments and studying. Confident in STEM, coding, and English at a college level. I will be starting a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering this fall, at Pennsylvania State University. I am an enthusiastic, confident, and curious learner. I understand that learning requires a connection to the material. I like tutoring because it gives me the chance to spread the spark of knowledge. The feeling of finally understanding a concept is one of the many small joys of life. In my spare time, I like to run, cross country ski, play video games, and cook. I understand that failure is part of the process. I try to be patient, as I know there were things that took me a few tries, and a few different explanations to click. My skills include deep knowledge of subjects, enthusiasm, and knowing when I need to look something up.
