We hired Jeff to care for my husband who is a stroke patient of 14 years and is in a wheelchair. During the six weeks that Jeff was with us, he was reliable, caring, neat and clean, respectful of our property, and took direction well. However, after 6 weeks, on the evening of the last day he was with us, he abruptly quit on us in a text message. His reason was that he was doing too much lifting of my husband and was having back issues and he needed to take care of his health.
