About Jed

Hi! I'm Jed, a recent college graduate who's always loved caring for and mentoring children since I was one myself. My favorite aspect of caregiving is getting to know a child (as well as their wonderful families) through conversation and play and then watching them mature into little adults over time. I prefer a calm and creative approach as I find it easier to connect to kids of all ages and allow them to freely express themselves in whatever manner they choose. This also makes it easier for me to enforce household rules because I've established mutual respect and given them a sense of agency despite having rules to follow. I'm happy to provide consistent updates through text or phone and am willing to assist in whatever household chores need completing. In my personal time I like to play/make music, learn about science, play sports (mostly basketball), and read a nice hardcover book. I look forward to meeting your family and creating a fun, nurturing environment for your children!
