About Jean

Our family started visiting nursing homes to do sing-along-longs on Sundays; so we kids were drafted to pass out the punch and cookies. That positive early experience was an important lesson in empathy and kindness; and likely led to my working in assisted living communities for 12 years later on. I provide respectful, encouraging companion care; transportation, meal preparation, favorite activities, and hands-on help with challenging tasks. I believe that I get it! I'm very familiar with Alzheimer's and the many health, safety, and risk management concerns adult children often have. Trying different strategies can improve quality of life for the older person, and boost emotional connectedness. Thanks for considering me. Best, Jean
