About Jean

We hired Jean in February 2025 to work a couple of nights each week at my mom and dad's home. Mom has Alzheimer's dementia and my dad needed overnight assistance with her. Jean was absolutely fantastic with Mom. And Mom accepted her help very easily. Jean is kind, compassionate, calm and efficient. I think that's why Mom responded to her so well and why my dad enjoyed having her in their home. Shortly after she was hired, my dad began to have physical health issues and Jean's caregiving went from just helping out with Mom to also assisting Dad. She did an amazing job setting up the many medications he was on for a while, by purchasing pill dispensers and printing out visual charts of every medications, what they were for, and when he needed to take them. Jean ended up taking on an extra day for a while, and was available to fill in when family couldn't be there. My parents recently moved to a senior living community and so we no longer needed Jean's services. If my parents were still in their home, Jean would still be providing care. We would have her back in a heartbeat. I should also mention that Jean has excellent communication skills and did an outstanding job of keeping the whole care team informed whenever there was a change in meds for Mom or Dad, or any sort of behavioral or emotional changes that we needed to be aware of. We came to think of Jean as a close family friend and appreciate everything she did to help keep our parents in their home as long as possible.
