About Jean

I'd describe my personality as friendly, intelligent, compassionate honest and patient. I like tutoring because I can share my knowledge with others and watch them learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I want to be able to help others with the tools and skills that I have learned . I started tutoring when I was in college. Math and science have always come easily to me. I have worked as a Chemical Engineer for 35 years. I have mentored and taught approximately 50 engineers during that time. In my spare time, I like to hike, spend time with my 9 grandchildren, do puzzles, and travel with my husband and friends. One thing you should know about me is I really enjoy the creative and talented mind of a child. I also appreciate at times they can be quite challenging and I need to exercise patience and understanding to the best of my ability. My skills include math, science and engineering.
