I am a single mother of a wonderful 5-year-old boy and 6-month-old girl. I'm seeking to bring my little girl along with me to care for another's pride and joy. I have over 10 years of experience working with children in home environments, daycares and school settings as a Care Giver, Education Assistant and Substitute Teacher. Recently, I've completed a course to become certified as a Parenting Coach. I understand the importance of respecting a child's emotional needs in order for them to flourish as secure humans as they journey into adulthood. Jeannie is a godsend. She handles my two high-energy kids with so much grace and skill, and does not seem to ever lose her calm and cool demeanor. She has taken classes in early childhood education, and talks a lot about emotions and feelings behind behaviors. She has helped my two kids develop a vocabulary to talk about their feelings, which is very important. I only wish I could afford to hire her full-time!
