I was the primary caretaker for my mother before she passed away. I also had a position being a companion to the mother of a former co-worker. I worked for a home health agency from November of 2018 until September of 2022. I also had a private client from December of 2021 through September of 2023 at which time she moved to senior living facility. I enjoy the elderly and they take to me. I am respectful of the person, their home, and their routines. I love to listen to stories and engage in conversation. I have a car so getting out is not a problem. I have a heart for the elderly. Unfortunately in today's world, many elderly parents seem to be put on the back burner and there are no worse feelings than being forgotten about or made to feel you are a burden. I strive to be a bright in the day of anyone I was caring for.
