I am currently a special education teacher who has always loved working with kids of all ages. My sitting experience includes two yrs of after school care and as-needed babysitting for 15 yrs. My teaching experience includes working with learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities, autism, early childhood, and medically fragile populations. I hold current teaching and SpED, CPR, and CPI/NCI certifications. I am typically described as being easy-going, approachable, and honest to a fault. I'm autistic and ADHD, and have a special interest in autism. I have experience with kids across varied neurodivergences and disabilities, including behavioral needs. For children with higher care needs, I have experience assisting with and teaching activities of daily living, toileting, communication/AAC, feeding, lifting, etc., and am happy to be trained on anything new.
