Jeanne list her fees as $15-20 an hour. I placed an add for a job for $15-20 an hour. She came to my home for an interview. I took time from work and spent time with her showing her the house, what I needed done, where the cleaning materials were, where to do the laundry, where and how to put it away. At the end of the interview, when we discussed fees she said her hourly fee was $40.00. I was shocked. I pointed out to her that she had listed herself as $15-20 and hour and that my add stated $15-20 an hour. She said that is not her rate and that $40 was her rate. Later I checked her Care.com page and realized that she did list herself as $15-20 and hour. I messaged her through Care.com thinking that maybe she made an error in her listing -She did not apologize for having listed herself as $15-20 and she did not apologize for wasting my time; instead she said, "I am sure you can get a student to do the work for that prize."
