I worked as a special education teacher assistant for 7 years, with children with a variety of physical and mental challenges. I volunteer in a number of outreach organizations serving impoverished and homeless communities. I am a volunteer for an organization in Ohio, overseeing care and advocating for individuals found incompetent by the court. I was a mentor who provided respite services and worked with adults in vocational training, residential and recreational environments. I have over 15 years combined experience working with people of all ages, various cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds, on a wide spectrum of issues in a variety of settings. I am an extremely compassionate person and I am dedicated to working with individuals and families who need assistance with their day-to-day living needs by motivating, teaching and encouraging them in order to enhance the quality of their lives.
