Hello, I am looking for a childcare job in or near Chalfont. I have 4 1/2 years nanny experience, am vaccinated against Covid19. I have worked at a daycare in the infant room and helped out in the toddler room as well. I am patient, kind, and loving. I enjoy helping children reach their developmental milestones through play, music, and reading. I am willing to take children to the local library and /or fun activities, walks, and playgrounds. My children are grown and I have very flexible hours to help. I love children and am willing to provide light housekeeping and food prep as long as it does not conflict with my duties caring for your child. The child always comes first! We are incredibly fortunate to have had Jeannette as our nanny for the past 2 years. She started working for us when our son was just 6 months, and continued through the birth of our daughter who is now almost 1 year old. Jeanne has a gentle, sweet way about her that both our children instantly clicked with (and our little dog is in love with her too!) Her care for them went beyond the basics - seeking out new activities inside and outside the home, taking our son to the library for sing-a-longs or the local airport to watch planes take off -- or bringing developmental toys and games over to play with them. The kids always came first, but I often said it felt like she was taking care of ME too -- keeping the house tidy, managing the kids laundry and even preparing dinner for us often. She was always prompt and flexible with our crazy schedules, positive, calm, reliable, trustworthy and an all-around wonderful person. She has helped our family so much through these early days as parents and we will be forever grateful for her!
