I took full time care of my mom when her dementia started to impair her independence for 4 years. I know how difficult this can be for the family. My background includes some college, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm skilled in providing transportation, running errands, personal care, light housekeeping, and preparing meals. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with patience and understanding. I prioritize open communication with families, providing regular updates via their preferred method. Being patient, friendly, and empathetic allows me to connect with care recipients.
