I have over 6 years of caregiving experience, including assisted living, dementia/Alzheimer's, hospice, physical disabilities, cognitive impairments, and one-on-one in-home care. I spent 3 years in assisted living and 2. 5 years caring for a client with advanced Alzheimer's, including experience calmly managing challenging behaviors and physical aggression. For the past year, I have provided one-on-one care for a paraplegic client with memory, impulse-control, and behavioral challenges. My experience includes transfers and mobility assistance, personal care, bowel programs, safety monitoring, and wheelchair-accessible transportation. I am patient, calm, dependable, and comfortable with complex hands-on care and challenging behaviors. I am especially interested in extended or live-in shifts, ideally 24-48 consecutive hours.
