About Jean

As a mom, a former nanny and the aunt of more than 20 neices and nephews, I have over 30 years of experience caring for children. Being entrusted to protect and nurture someone's child is a tremendous privlege and a responsibility that cannot be understated. My approach with children is to be patient, always come from a place of kindness, and to help them feel safe, protected and loved. I enjoy all kinds of creative play; from dress up to pretending to arts and craft projects. I love being outside whether it's a simple walk, a picnic, or exploring in nature As a published picture book author, reading to children and trips to all the local libraries are some of my favorite things to do. Lastly, my care aligning with and falling within the guidelines of the family for whom I work is always the goal. I have my own car, am CPR certified, very comfortable with pets, and happy to do light housekeeping/meal prep. If you feel I would be a good fit for your family, I hope we can connect!
