I have recently retired from public education. There was a time that I needed assistance with care for my parents while I was employed and raising children, so I am aware of this important need. I enjoy the opportunity to serve and interact with seniors. I'd describe my personality as warm, calm, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy their wisdom and I find joy in spending time with them and providing assistance to make their day brighter. I'm looking for a job that is part-time and close to my home. I have been involved through church in serving communion and delivering meals to homebound members. I have provided care for 4 parents in their late years. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, walking my dogs, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. I have worked in public service my entire life and I enjoy people. I feel called to continue making a positive difference in other's lives during my retirement years.
