I have worked in Special Education in Lake County, and currently have a role within a pediatric clinic. Sometimes the best to be done is having patience and working where the child is at so they may grow in their learning. I know the value of being present for someone while they are having a hard time and it makes all the difference to be their supporter and not someone who sheds their light.
