About Jazmin

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively listening and observing how a student interacts with new material, I adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps and celebrate small successes to maintain momentum. I believe open communication is essential for building trust and setting clear expectations with both you and your child. My experience working with elementary students has shown me that patience and positive reinforcement are key to academic growth. I am comfortable working with pets and am available for sessions in your home or online. Seeing a student master a new skill is truly the most rewarding part of my day.
