Throughout my 10years of working in childcare I have taken care of many children with special needs. Some may have had the same disorder or different but making them feel self and taking care of them something I'm good at. UNDERSTANDING and PATIENCE plays a big roll in taking care of children with disabilities and that's something I have. I'm not certified or don't have a degree but I do have a God sister I've been taking care of since I was 11 years old and she has an disability. She's pretty easy to assist she is self sufficient but does need guidance when brushing her teeth changing clothes, and when her menstrual comes changing her ect. Cooking, showering, doing laundry, grocery shopping things like that she is not capable on doing on her own at all.
