About Jayqwan

Hi! I'm Jay - a high-energy, reliable childcare provider and youth sports coach with a passion for helping kids stay active, build confidence, and have fun. I currently run recess at an elementary school during the week, where I create engaging, age-appropriate activities that keep kids moving and happy. I've also coached pickleball, flag football, hockey, and basketball programs on weekends, making sports fun and inclusive for kids of all skill levels. Every summer, I work as a basketball and volleyball instructor at a camp, and throughout the year I also coach at their mini day camps when school is out. With experience across schools, camps, and community programs, I've worked with children of all ages and personalities. I'm also currently in graduate school for Physical Education, which continues to strengthen my knowledge of child development, movement, and creating positive, active learning environments.
