About Jaylene

Hi families! I'm Jaylene, an ASU graduate from Barrett, The Honors College with a degree in Justice Studies and Philosophy and a minor in Socio-Legal Studies. Born and raised in Oro Valley, AZ, I've always loved working with kids and helping them grow. I have experience babysitting children of all ages, mentoring high-achieving teens through the Barrett Summer Scholars Program, and working in a juvenile youth justice lab, where I supported research on youth development. I also spent two years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), caring for geriatric and bariatric residents across multiple facilities--an experience that strengthened my compassion, patience, and sense of responsibility. I'm currently applying to law school and seeking meaningful, flexible work while I pursue that goal. I love creating fun, safe, and supportive environments where kids can learn, play, and thrive.
