About Jayla

I'm Jayla, a passionate and caring childcare provider with 6 years of experience in looking after children of all ages. My journey in childcare started with a genuine love for kids and a commitment to ensuring their well being and development. I've been hired by 3 families from Care and am able to provide a list of references from Care and Houston Independent School District employers. I began my childcare journey at a reputable nursery, where I worked with newborns to toddlers for three years, focusing on creating a safe and nurturing environment. I then transitioned to a Montessori school, where I spent a year working with 3yr olds, emphasizing cognitive development, literacy, numeracy, and practical life skills. Currently, I am a Pre-K teaching assistant in HISD, where I help foster a love for learning in young children. I am now seeking a summer job opportunity where I can continue to apply my experience and passion for early childhood education.
