About Jayla

My name is Jayla, and I am a dedicated Education student at Clark Atlanta University with a passion for working with children. As the oldest of seven siblings, I gained hands-on childcare experience by helping care for my younger brothers and sisters, assisting with daily routines, homework, supervision, and creating a safe, supportive environment. I also worked as a camp counselor, where I supervised children, organized activities, encouraged teamwork, and ensured their safety while creating a fun and positive experience. These experiences strengthened my patience, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I enjoy helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. I am dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing families with trustworthy, nurturing, and reliable care.
