About Jayla

My name is Jayla and I am 19 years old. I currently attend EPCC and I'm majoring in political science. I've always enjoyed being around kids and I believe my patience and very friendly and open personality, coupled with my creativity and imagination, make me a great caregiver. I prioritize open communication with parents, ensuring they receive regular updates about their child's day and any issues that arise. I adapt to the parents' preferred communication method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup or regular updates via text or phone call. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the children. From outdoor sports to board games and video games, I enjoy engaging with children in all kinds of activities that cater to their interests. I'm most comfortable caring for ages 3 and up, and I can look after more than one child if they are older.
