About Jayla

I found a passion for childcare in high school as a baby sitter for family friends and since then have worked to broaden the impact I can have on young lives. Through working as a writing center consultant on campus at Vassar college and substitute teaching middle school students in my time at home in Connecticut, I have been able to educate student ranging from ages 10-22. I hold a deep care for protecting those I have the honor of keeping watch of, and like to extend that service further through educating young minds in simple, everyday matters. I love creative games, thoughtful conversations, and supporting children in their development! I am CPR certified and have experience with children in classroom and home settings. I am eager to bring my enthusiasm and skills to your family.
