About Jay

Hi, I'm Jay! I started working with children professionally when I was about 16, looking after young kids in my family choir. Since I was deeply involved at church, I often offered to watch over parents' children when they were busy. But long before that, I was already a caregiver-taking care of my younger siblings since I was about 11. With my parents working long shifts, it naturally became my responsibility. Though it could be exhausting at times, my genuine love for kids made it feel less like a duty! In my free time, I love to dance, rollerskate, hang out with friends, and learn new things. Lately, I've been volunteering more and applying for internships to explore my passions and what drives me. One thing you should know about me is that I'm pretty adaptable! I've been around all types of kids, and that's helped me read a child and care for them in a way that makes them feel comfortable.
