Bait and switch. Jaye accepted our job and then tried to increase her rates. She initially agreed to clean our house for 6-7 hours for $160 ($26/hour). We hired her and turned away other candidates. She worked for us for three weeks, and now she demands $40 per hour or she won't come back. Both my daughter and I are disabled and cannot clean the house ourselves. Now I need to repost the job and search for a new housekeeper over the holidays. Maybe Jaye thought she could squeeze extra money out of a family with disabled people. Her posted rates, and those she quoted in person, are a misrepresentation.
