About Jayde

I'm currently a student studying Social Work, and I have about three years of experience working with children in professional childcare and classroom settings. I've worked as an assistant teacher caring for children from infancy through the pre-teen years. Most of my experience has been with children between 3 months and 5 years old, so I'm especially comfortable with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I enjoy working with younger children and being a part of their growth as they learn new things and become more independent. I'm patient, reliable, and comfortable following a family's routines and household rules. I enjoy keeping kids engaged with things like outdoor play, crafts and puzzles. I'm CPR trained and comfortable helping with meals and light housekeeping. I also know how important communication is when someone is trusting you with their child, so I'm happy to provide regular updates and follow each family's preferred way of communicating.
