About Jayda

My name is Jayda and I am currently studying Education. After graduating high school, I attended university and became a nanny. I nannied for an amazing family for 3 years. I learned so much from the importance of routines to also fitting room to teach flexibility. I work on creating activities pertaining to their schooling while integrating the significance of their home & life skills as well. This led me to working at a school for children with intellectual disabilities and becoming an Assistant Teacher. My passion for guiding & nurturing children grew and I was inspired by my students. This position allowed me to branch out and explore parts of teaching I never considered. There can always be a golden mean when working with children. It's important to highlight that especially knowing how different children can be to one another. I love to learn and I love to make people feel like life is a bit easier when I am around.
