About Jay

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, positive and friendly. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy helping others, in whatever ways they need. I'm looking for a job that allows me the opportunity to help others lead a happier and more fulfilling life. I started caring for seniors when I was in college, and have served seniors both professionally and personally. I have a Masters degree in Health Services Administration and Gerontology. I have worked as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Executive Director for retirement communities, as well as caring for my own father who had both dementia and Parkinson's. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors through fishing, hiking and kayaking. One thing you should know about me is I will work hard to meet the needs and improve the quality of life of the seniors I serve however I can. My skills include listening, encouraging and doing whatever it takes to be of help.
