About Javelyn

Hello, my name is Javelyn and I am 20 years old. I am currently enrolled in college! I love working with kids to create a fun but also safe environment. Three words that can describe me are responsible, creative, and attentive. This recent summer I was an intern at Camp Cross ministries as a camp counselor and leanred leadership skills. I worked with kids from VPK through 9th graders. As a counselor, I helped children in their academics, created fun arts and crafts, enjoy the outside with games, and overall make sure they were in a safe nurturing place for campers to call home. I am CPR certified and had over 70 hours of learning to work with kids. I tooked care of children as if they were my own. My favorite hobbies are reading books, soccer, music, organizing, and of course watching movies! I truly loved working with kids to help them grow and teach.
