Hi, I'm Jay - a Red Cross certified childcare professional with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive. I bring years of hands-on experience across a range of settings - from early learning and Montessori centers to elementary and middle school classrooms, where I've specialized in social-emotional learning (SEL) and literacy intervention. This background means I'm equally comfortable soothing an infant, guiding a toddler through play-based learning, or supporting an older child with reading and emotional development. My Montessori training has shaped the way I work with kids: I follow each child's lead, respect their pace, and create a calm, prepared environment wherever I am. My SEL experience means I know how to handle big feelings with patience and consistency - a skill parents consistently tell me makes a real difference.
