I like caring for seniors because my life's work has centered on pastoral presence, listening, and attentive hospitality. For me, it's a natural outlet for pastoral presence: Years of ministry have trainers me to sit comfortably with people through life transitions, vulnerability, and quiet moments. I am also drawn to deep, unhurried listening: Seniors carry a lifetime of stories, wisdom, and perspective. If you are drawn to meaningful conversation and narrative, engaging with older adults offers a depth of connection that everyday workplace interactions rarely provide. I'm looking for a job that inspires me and allows me to serve others.
