About Jasmine

Since I can remember I've loved working with children. Not only is it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow, they have a unique ability to help us stay present, passionate and creative. I'm looking for a job that sparks joy. Children are such a light, and it's always fun to help facilitate their development and cheer them on through challenges and wins. I began working with kids when I was a kid. I had a sitter service in high school and tutored in high school and college. I did Breakthrough Collaborative's internship where I taught 8th grade English and creative writing, and I tutored middle schoolers at Hixson Middle School while completing my degree. Fun facts about me: I'm passionate about education and community building, and this extends to building meaningful relationships with the families I work with. I majored in English Lit. & Educational Studies in undergrad at WashU; in my spare time, I read, write, bake and play piano, and I'm currently applying to law schools!
