About Jasmine

I like working with kids because it's rewarding watching them learn and grow. Children remind you to stay present and full of love, passion and creativity. I'm looking for a job that sparks joy and growth. Children are such a light; it's always fun to help facilitate their development and to cheer them on through their changes, challenges and wins. I started working with kids when I was a kid. In high school I had a sitter service and I tutored students in middle school and up. In college I did Breakthrough Collaborative's internship where I taught my own 8th grade English class. I also tutored middle schoolers at Hixson Middle School while completing my degree. Some additional things to know about me: I'm passionate about education and building community, and this extends to building meaningful relationships with the families I work with. In undergrad I majored in English and Educational Studies, and in my spare time, I like to read, write, bake and play the piano.
