My calling to care for others stems from a deep-seated passion for ensuring adults and seniors maintain their well-being and independence. For 17 years, I've provided respite care, hospice services, and assisted with errands, shopping, and light housekeeping. Meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, and mobility assistance are also areas where I can help your loved one. I am patient, calm, compassionate, and detail-oriented. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by learning about their preferences and history. I'm experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I communicate with families through daily reports, verbal updates, and by following their preferred method. I have some college education and current CPR and First Aid certifications.
