Hello, I am a warm hearted 38-year-old wife and Mother of one amazing 6-year-old. Most of may education is in Early Childhood Education but I have at least 3 years of experience in caring for the elderly. They say if you want to make God laugh tell him your plans, well when my daughter was born it changed the trajectory of my life in a good way. I became a Caregiver all around working with children and the elderly. I have worked for two families in total, the most recent family was an elderly couple in their 90, s. They needed a lot of care as the husband had dementia. So I shared responsibility with another caregiver. My main responsibility were light house keeping, food prep for the full day, bathing of the husband, medicine distributor and at night I would get the husband dressed. I had the pleasure of caring for this amazing family until both passed. It was such an amazing experience that I had with them and it lit a spark in me.
