About Jasmine

I have experience in the field of teaching students with various learning abilities in a structured setting. Since securing a bachelor s degree in Communicative Disorders, I committed to a year of service through AmeriCorps working for the non-profit organization, serving at- risk youth in underperforming schools. As a City Year AmeriCorps member, I had the privilege to focus on 11 fourth grade students in the subjects English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Socio- Emotional skills. I developed lesson plans based on their skill needs and through small group planned interventions and behavior sessions all students showed improvement in their focus subject area.
