I have taken care of my grandmother who has cancer. Assisted her at chemo appointments and on all her errands. I have worked as a direct care provider, taking care of blind, deaf, and disabled adults. I help them with daily activities around the house, pass out meds, cook meals and help bath them when needed. I have also worked in a group home for young teenage girls and that job helped me build patience and understanding. My last companion was a One Star General who couldn't walk and I assisted him with bathing/dressing, meals, woundcare, physical therapy, set and cancel appointments, take to appointments and keep the family informed of progress and decline.
