About Jasmine

Hello, My name is Jasmine. I am currently a senior at Sam Houston State University. I am majoring in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice. I plan to become a Social Worker in the future. I am a mother to Twins one being on the spectrum. - I have years of experience working with children and elderly. I started my caregiving experience in high school babysitting. In 2013 I started working at my first childcare center. The toddlers daily schedule consists of; art work, counting on fingers, working with memory, story time, music time, indoor and outdoor free play, and learning letters, shapes, colors and numbers. I also, helped the children prepare for breakfast and lunch as well as nap time. I worked in childcare for a total of 4 years. I then expanded my career to work with elderly adults 2017. I helped with daily living activities, ensuring they are on time for meals and activities. Helped residents with daily hygiene, including showering, oral and peri care; incontinence care.
