Knowing I can positively impact someone's life is what drives me as a caregiver. I am certified in Dementia Care and am finishing up my CNA. I'm very patient and gentle. Empathy is important for overall well-being. I communicate with families through written reports, verbal updates, and according to their preferences. Building trust and respecting independence are key to my approach. I'm experienced in de-escalating stressful situations and handling behavioral changes. I provide transportation, run errands, do light housekeeping, and prepare meals. Raised by a mother with a disability, I understand all too well that some individuals require a bit more care and attention, and am more than glad to help in any way I can.
