About Jaslyn

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school students in Math, English, and Test Preparation, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I assess your learning style by actively observing how you interact with new material, then adapt my approach using visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice. When concepts feel difficult, I break them into manageable steps and connect topics to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I believe clear, consistent communication with both students and parents is essential to building a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. Whether we meet at your home or a local coffee shop, I am genuinely excited to help you reach your academic goals.
